Calculate Insurance Needs
The holidays are coming, and this is usually the time when my money habits get tested the most. There are gifts, food, invites, and so many reasons to spend without thinking. But this year, I’m choosing to stay consistent.I’ve already set a clear holiday budget, so I don’t walk into the season guessing. I made a simple gift list with spending limits for each person, and I’m reminding myself that I don’t have to say yes to every event, party, or Secret Santa. I’m avoiding the “one more thing” mentality that usually blows up my budget. I’m also sticking to the habits that got me this far—saving, tracking, and paying down what I need to—even if the numbers dip a little during the season. More than anything, I’m focusing on moments, not purchases, because the people I love value my presence more than anything I can buy. And when January hits, I already have a plan to reset my budget and start the new year strong. I’m learning that consistency isn’t about perfection—it's about staying committed even when the holidays try to pull me off track.
